News June 2016

Hello! Lots going on!

I just wrapped up a cowrite with Larry Migliore called “Good Time BBQ”. The song is currently being demoed in Nashville by Gary Carter along with some other great players. We hope to have the demo back in a couple weeks. It’s the perfect summer song. I will post it soon!

In recording news - I recently completed some guitar tracks for Arizona singer/songwriter Chris Sahlin. The song is called “Gravity". It’s a fantastic tune and I will be doing more with Chris in the future for sure. I also just finished up a session with the talented Mike Hamel. I played guitars and sang background vocals on his new tune “What Did You Think”. Look for that on his forthcoming record “Lies”.

I am working some tunes with my pal Keith Megna.  Keith is an old friend who directed the video for my song Battleground a few years back. The first song from our Pajama Band project is called "Hey!" We are finished tracking and Keith is currently mixing the new song!

Between all these projects, I have started sifting through my own ideas and hope to start recording some of my own material soon…there is A LOT of it. I hope to put out a new album with a mix of instrumentals and songs.

I'll be performing at BB Kings in NYC this Wednesday (June 29) playing guitar with my friends Professor Louie & The Crowmatix. Also on the bill is The New Riders Of The Purple Sage! Should be a great show!

My Morning Jam video series is still going strong! I have done one a week since March 2015! Look for them every Thursday morning on Youtube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel.

Thank you all for your ongoing support!

The popularity round of the Onstage with Vince Gill contest is over!! We finished in 2nd place with over 22,000 points (votes)! I am blown away by the amount of support from you all. I would have never imagined I would finish in 2nd place in a huge nationwide contest like this. Now Vince Gill and the GC people will judge the top 100 videos and pick their 5 favorites. I will not find out until early June if I advance and take a trip to California to play live for Vince. I will let you all know as soon as I find out. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!!!! This is amazing!
